As a Senior Applied AI Software Engineer, you design and deliver complex AI-enabled product capabilities with minimal guidance. This role transitions away from siloed frontend/backend titles toward a T-shaped, full-stack profile spanning UI, APIs, services, and data pipelines. You serve as a technical authority who mentors peers and raises the bar on AI-native engineering practices

- AI-Native Engineering: Lead the adoption of agentic tooling, LLM workflows, and AI automation within your team to accelerate the development lifecycle.
- End-to-End Ownership: Deliver major product features and subsystems across the full stack, ensuring they are production-ready and secure.
- Technical Authority: Act as the go-to resource for peers, reviewing designs and code critically while clarifying technical feasibility.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Lead the resolution of complex cross-system issues and plan major refactoring initiatives.
- Quality Excellence: Balance delivery speed with long-term maintainability,championing performance and accessibility standards.
Who you are
- How about you
- You have a solid background of at least 6+ years in software development including design;
- You are able to communicate clearly and confidently across all levels to get buy-ins from technical stakeholders as well as from your team members;
- Experience in the banking domain or Fintech products will be considered an advantage;
- You have excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written;
- You have a solid understanding of Java, Micro services, SpringBoot, Maven, CI and CD;
- You have experience with relational databases and Spring JPA / Hibernate;
- You have experience with microservices (Netflix OSS is a plus); Cloud and Apache Tomcat;
- You have experience with non-functionals such as security, performance, scalability etc.;
- You have a solid understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns.
