Overview of the AI Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to join our team and contribute to design, architect & build AI solutions that streamline internal processes as well as enable product innovations. You'll work alongside architects ,peer developers and product teams to apply AI/ML technologies to real-world business problems, helping us leverage our automation and data platforms to improve operational efficiency and client value.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Bangalore India office location.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI-driven solutions that address internal operational challenges and also enhance product capabilities that BetaNXT Offers to our clients
• Collaborate with the team(s) to apply AI technology standards, patterns, and best practices across projects.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of our AI portfolio of products.
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand AI use cases, assist in prototyping solutions, and gather requirements & subsequently design, build and deploy applications
• Support model lifecycle management, including training, validation, deployment, and monitoring of AI solutions.
• Apply responsible AI practices around data privacy, transparency, and model interpretability.
• Participate in the planning and execution of AI initiatives aligned with enterprise technology objectives.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• 4+ years of experience with software development and system architecture concepts.
• Strong working knowledge of ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and model operations fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Python and software development best practices.
• Solid understanding of NLP techniques and their applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with or exposure to GenAI technologies (e.g., LLMs, embeddings, vector search).
• Experience of working on technologies such as AWS Bedrock, Canvas, Claude agents, Sagemaker etc.
• Know-hows in data related supervised machine Learning.
• Good understanding of Model Training & deployment.
• Prior Development experience in applications in any one or two of the following language Angular , NodeJS, Java, Python, Java Spring Boot, ReactJS etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise AI tools , products or RPA platforms.
• Hands-on involvement in developing AI applications leveraging opensource AI LLM that are available in OLlama or Hugging face & deploying applications not limited to developing custom MCPs.
