About the Role
We're looking for an AI Automation Associate to join our growing Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to apply AI and automation to real business problems — sitting at the heart of a commercial team that's scaling fast.
You'll play a key role in modernising how our sales team operates. That means building automations, tools, and AI-powered workflows that eliminate manual processes, improve data quality, and help our commercial team work smarter. You'll be embedded within the sales team, developing a deep understanding of how they work and what they need — then building the things that make a tangible difference to how deals are won.
You'll report to our CEO Associate and maintain close contact with our commercial teams, tooling and operations teams, who will provide technical mentorship, share knowledge, and support you on more complex builds. This is a high-impact role that grows in autonomy and impact as you do.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Build and ship automations and AI-powered tools that streamline sales and commercial processes
- Map existing commercial workflows to identify gaps, manual handoffs, and opportunities for automation
- Embed with the sales team to understand their pain points firsthand, test solutions alongside them, and iterate based on real feedback
- Own a growing backlog of tooling and automation projects, prioritising based on commercial impact and business need
- Collaborate with the tooling and engineering team for technical support, knowledge sharing, and more complex builds
- Monitor and maintain the tools and automations you ship, improving them as the business evolves and scales
What We're Looking For
- AI-native and tool-savvy: you use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) confidently and practically in your day-to-day work — you know how to prompt your way to a working solution and are curious about pushing further
- A builder instinct: you've built something — a personal project, a workflow automation, or a tool during an internship — and you want to do more of it in a professional setting
- Resourceful and tenacious: you find a way through ambiguity rather than waiting for perfect instructions, and you don't give up when the first approach doesn't work
- Commercially curious: you genuinely want to understand how sales teams operate and why it matters that commercial processes run smoothly
- A fast learner: you pick up new tools and frameworks quickly and are comfortable figuring things out independently
- Experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Zapier, or Make — whether through work, study, or personal projects
- A technical degree (computer science, maths, engineering, or similar) is great, but not essential if you can demonstrate technical experience
Benefits
- 28 days holiday plus bank holidays (with the option to roll over up to 5 days per year)
- Employee share options
- Private health insurance
- Private dental cover
- Life insurance (3x salary)
- Flexible salary sacrifice pension
- ClassPass health & wellbeing membership
- Juno lifestyle allowance
- Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
- ParentPromise digital new parent support
- Flexible working
- Work from anywhere (up to one month per year)
- Regular team events, lunches, and days out
